Hello! My name is Marie Burroughs and I am the Director of Health Services at Habersham House. I have been a health care provider for 37 years. I have four daughters and four grandchildren. My hobbies are playing with my grandchildren, traveling when possible, working in my yard, walking, watching movies and enjoying good music. I have a LPN license and a passion for nursing.

Terrie Matthews, Director of Activities
Hello! My name is Terrie Matthews and I am the Director of Activities here at Habersham House. After finishing my Business and Finance education in college at the age of 17, I worked for a well-known Scandinavian entertainment agency which took me to places like Cyprus, Greece, Spain, France and Egypt giving me a well-rounded experience of different cultures, tastes and people. Once I finished working in these countries, I settled down with my Scottish husband, Steve, to run my own successful entertainment company in the South of England for eight years. Through my husband’s work and the sheer fact that we both loved Savannah, we decided to take a chance and start a new life here in the USA. Once moving here and settling in perfectly, I secured the ideal position for me as the Director of Activities for Habersham House. I am absolutely thrilled to be here and I love working with our residents.

Hello everyone! My name is Donald Butler and I am the Director of Food & Beverage at Habersham House. I am a native of Savannah, Georgia. I have one son and cooking is my passion! I have always loved to cook and have worked in the hospitality / food service business for 33 years. I have been involved in every aspect of the business from employee, manager, and owner. Now my goal is to provide our residents with the best dining experience possible.

Walter Lamb, Director of Maintenance
Hello! I am Walter Lamb and I am the Director of Maintenance for Habersham House Senior Residence. Born and raised in Pooler, Georgia, I now reside on White Marsh Island with my wife and our two daughters. My hobbies are boating, water skiing and camping. My goal is to make sure that everything in our community works properly so that our residents enjoy their stay at Habersham House to the fullest.
